1 day agoEskoms electricity supply crisis is intensifying with the state-owned power monopoly saying on Wednesday that it will implement stage-4 load shedding from midday until 5am on Friday. Stage 3 allows for up to 3000MW of the national load to be shed and stage 4 allows for as much as 4000MW to be cut. This comes as analysts warn that the ANC government may be punished at the polls for the latest round of load shedding that started at Stage 2 on Saturday October 23 and intensified to Stage 4 four days later.

1 day agoEskom has announced that load shedding will be pushed to stage 4 on Wednesday continuing until 05h00 on Friday. However if you are an Eskom customer and do not have. Consumers can expect to be shed up to 12 times over a four-day period for two hours at a time or 12 times over an eight-day period for four hours at a time.
In a statement Eskom stated that it would begin Stage 4 load shedding from Wednesday to Friday before dropping back to Stage 2 load shedding implementation.
